Russell Standard Corporation has been associated with NovaChip® since its introduction in the United States in 1992. Since 1994 Russell Standard Corporation has installed over 2 million square yards on various state and local roads in both Western and Eastern Pennsylvania and on county roads in Michigan. Our earliest projects in the City of Pittsburgh are performing as expected after many years of service. NovaChip® is an ultra thin hot mix asphalt that is bonded to the existing surface. The bond is created by using an unique paver that applies a polymer modified liquid asphalt and the hot mix asphalt at the same time. The superior bond and the unique aggregate gradations offer many advantages.
